Senior Food Technologist

   We seek a proven Senior Food Technologist with food and/or beverage application lab experience to create and reformulate new flavor bases and beverage concepts, and to support core business in a fast paced environment. The successful food technologist jobs candidate will have demonstrated application lab experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, willingness to travel and will have an aptitude for working within a new operation.

This food technology jobs position will be responsible to develop, prepare, test and provide technical sales and customer support for products such as juice base, coffee and tea base and energy beverages. The successful jobs in food science candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate across functional lines and play a key role in working with the Sales team to explain products to customers through presentations and shall have the ability to meet with counterparts in our customer companies.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science minimum from a university with major course work in Food Science, Food Engineering or closely related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
* Ten plus years experience in food or beverage application lab is required. Juice experience is preferred.
* Ability to discriminate through taste and smell is required.
* Knowledge of commercial food or beverage processing, sensory testing and use of function ingredients is required.
* PC based computing experience (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with batch processing software is  preferred.
